To Associate a Serialized Item to an Object

  1. Open the object you want in the Content pane.
  2. Expand the Serialized Items topic.
  3. Do one of the following:

    In the next available row, in the Serial/Batch Number field, enter the number of a serialized item and press the <Tab> key to validate the item.

    or

    Click the Query Serialized Items link to search for the relevant serialized item(s), then drag the item(s) you want from the search results into the Serialized Items topic.

  4. Click the Save icon.
Tip: Click the Delete icon next to a serialized item in the list to disassociate it from the object.
